Surface Preparation

1. The substrate must be sound, clean and free from any deleterious materials such as oil stains, old coating, dusts grease etc.
2. Dampen the dry concrete / plastered surface prior to application of QuicKote 120 WF

Mixing

1. Add approximately 8 Liters of water to 20 Kg of QuicKote 120 WF
2. Using a high speed drill mixer, to stir the mixture for about 5 – 10 minutes until a homogeneous, lump free paste consistency is achieved.

Application:

1. Using a steel trowel to spread and lay the material to the required thickness.
2. For skimming works, it shall not be more than 3mm thick.
3. Once the material has been laid, leave to droughts, areas subjected to abnormal droughts, the finished surface should be projected

Instruction for Use

Surface Preparation

Ensure the surfaces are free from loose, particles, dirt, dust, oil, wax.

Make good for any surface defected, clean thoroughly and dry.

Application Methods

1. By using Roller / Soft – Brush: Thin with some 10% of clean water

Apply by using roller and or soft brush.

2. By using Air Spray: Dilute the paint with 20% of clean water.

MIXING and APPLICATION

The theoretical coverage rate of StarHard N is 4-7Kg /  m2

OTHER INFORMATION

1. When a coloured version of StarHard N is to be used, it is recommended to carry out a small site trail to evaluate any color variations due to local concrete components such as sand and aggregates.
2. Do not use StarHard N on concrete which contains any calcium chloride or concrete with air content above 3%.
3. Do not use StarHard N on floor slabs which are exposed to chemical know to attack concrete.
4. Do not use StarHard N on floor slabs which are exposed to chemical chloride or concrete containing Ordinary Portland cement such as addicts and their .

INSTRUCTION FOR USE

SURFACE PREPARATION:

Before grouting operation, the surface upon which fluid grout will be filled should be thoroughly cleaned and dampened with water

MIXING and APPLICATION:

1. Add approx. 3.6 and 5.2 liters of water to a 25Kh of StarGrout GP to obtain flow -able and trowellable grouts respectively depending on operation needs.
2. Stir the mixture, using a high speed mixer, for about 3 – 5 minutes until a smooth, even consistency is obtained.

Surface Preparation

1. All surfaces to be coated with StarFlex 180 must be sound, clean and free from any contaminants.
2. Repair all large cracks and honeycombs.
3. Leaking areas must be sealed.
4. All surfaces must be pre-wet, but ensure no pudding before application.

MIXING and APPLICATION

1. Add StarFlex 180 powder gradually to the liquid polymer and mix together.
2. Two coats of StarFlex 180 are required for waterproofing.
3. Using a short stiff bristle brush, evenly distribute the base coat of StarFlex 180 at a minimum of 1Kg/m² and then apply the finish coat at a minimum of ½ Kg/m².
4. Spray or trowel application can be undertaken. Allow 8 hours between coats.
5. On smooth, dense masonry where improved bonding is required primed the substrate with Star bonding agent prior to application.

COVERAGE

1^st coat: 1.0Kg/m²

2^nd coat: 0.5Kg to 1.0Kg/m²
